FanGuideMorocco.com ("we", "us", "this site") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.

What data we collect

Email addresses. If you request an itinerary, we use your email address to deliver that one-off message. We add the address to our subscriber records and MailerLite only when you separately choose to receive FanGuideMorocco travel guides and planning updates.

Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, where visitors come from, and how long they spend on the site. Analytics storage is denied by default and the Analytics script loads only after you accept it in our analytics banner. If you decline, it remains off.

Contact form submissions. If you contact us via the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide.

How we use your data

• Email addresses are used to operate the newsletter or deliver a planner email you request. We do not sell or rent them. They are disclosed only to service providers needed to operate those features, such as MailerLite and the site's email host, subject to their own processing terms.
• Analytics data is used to improve the site — to understand which guides are most useful and where to focus effort.
• Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your message.

Third-party services

Google Analytics 4 — collects usage data to measure site traffic. Depending on your cookie choice, this may include identifiers such as cookies and device information. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Google AdSense — may display advertisements on substantive guide pages. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. The AdSense library may load while advertising storage remains denied by default. For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google's certified consent message manages advertising consent and provides Consent, Do not consent, and Manage options choices. Google may serve limited or non-personalised ads where consent is not granted. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Travelpayouts — can provide affiliate tools that attribute visits and bookings to this site when affiliate features are enabled. Those features are currently disabled. Affiliate links

Affiliate links and browser-based affiliate tools are currently disabled. If they are enabled later, the relevant page will display a disclosure; a partner may attribute a click or booking and process data under its own privacy policy. Always verify the provider's current terms and total price before completing a purchase.

Cookies

Google Analytics loads only after you accept it in our analytics banner. The optional Travelpayouts browser script is currently disabled; if affiliate features are enabled in the future, that script will also require acceptance. If you decline, optional scripts remain off and the site continues to function normally. AdSense is governed separately by denied-by-default Consent Mode signals and, in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google's certified consent platform. You can revisit the site's analytics choice using the Analytics settings button in the footer; Google advertising choices are available through the privacy message and Google's ad settings.

Data retention

We keep a newsletter subscriber's email address until they unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. An address used only to deliver a requested itinerary is handled by our email provider for delivery and is not added to our local subscriber table or MailerLite audience. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and related record-keeping. Google Analytics data follows the retention setting configured in the site's Analytics property; aggregated reports may remain after user-level data expires.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe — use the unsubscribe option included in a newsletter when available, reply to an itinerary email, or contact us and we will remove your address.
• Data deletion — contact us at hello@fanguidemorocco.com to request deletion of any data we hold about you.
• Access — you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
